Taking a step back from all the tactics and angles. Today we’re doing a straight and simple tutorial. Cross step kicks are fun, plain and simple. Some of the techniques we do, should simply be because they’re fun. However these have a couple instances where they can be effectively applied, watch the video and find out.

Something a little bit different today, here we focus on solely hand combinations. But punching in styles outside conventional boxing should NOT be trained like conventional boxing. Your stance and ideas must change once kicks, knees, sweeps, and so much more get involved. Here I also demonstrate some of the more unusual style combinations that Savate likes to throw.

Kick with your toes! But only sometimes. My second video going into a bit more context for how and when the tip of the shoe is used. And another great way to modify wall bag training to suit different styles of striking.

Trying something different today, here I demonstrate how to use the wall bag in a kickboxing format. Adaptive training and finding these uses are one of the best ways to develop skills, not only that but it gives you a break from doing the exact same drills. Disguising repetition is one of the foremost important concepts of martial arts. Learning how to practice the same skill different ways.

Today I’m offering up a pair of triple kick combinations. Think of these the way you would multi strike combinations with the same hand. The concept is the same, you want your lead leg to be educated in much the same way as your lead hand. So drilling in that kind of multi strike dexterity is one of the best ways to improve your kicking skills.

A side note, YouTube has been killing my channel recently and not properly sharing my videos. Any and all shares are appreciated especially if they’re featured on any other platform. Thank you all so much for your support/

Some more dirty tricks today, turning out level change off the low cross into a stiff arm to the face, blinding them to the head kick that will follow off the break. Breaking with high kicks is one of the highest percentage times to land them and blinding your opponent to your actions is even one step better.

Your lead leg kicking probably isn’t as good as it should be, so practice this combo and it’ll probably get better. All jokes aside lead leg kicking is probably the weakest aspect of most peoples striking game. But developing this kind of lead leg dexterity is extremely valuable. Giving a tremendous number of offensive options that simple aren’t accessible to people who lack the skill.
